Is it okay for a guy to wear shirts from Pac Sun (skater/surfer) if he doesn’t skate or surf?

What are fashionable tees for guys that DON’T skate or surf? All I play is basketball and i don’t like wearing plain colored shirts but that’s all my mom gets me because plain colored shirts are about $3.50 or so and others are $15-$25 each. What do you guys think I should do?

Uses of printer as creative tool 1

Take a field trip to your local office supply store and check out all the great media made for laser and ink jet printers. You can buy bordered paper, metallic paper, labels in all sizes, several different kinds of photo paper, T shirt iron ons, canvas, watercolor and linen finish paper. Want to print on something other than paper Ive seen window clings great for making your own holiday decorations and shrink plastic that will go through the color printer remember Shrinky Dinks. Some papers are pretty expensive and youll only want to use it sparingly, but think small. For instance, I made a dozen invitations for a party and printed the text 6 up on some pretty paper. Then I cut them apart and layered them on the cards with other paper. I got a nice effect and only used 2 sheets of the expensive paper. Try office supply stores and discount stores for reasonably priced papers.
Think out of the paper box when it comes to using your printer Ive had success with non traditional paper like construction paper, paper bags cut to size great for treasure hunts if you crumple them up and road maps. Just be sure that your paper isnt too thick for the printer and test using manual feed first. Also, experiment with putting paper other than 8.5 x 11 size in the printer. The manual has instructions read them
What can you do with this stuff
Besides cards or elements for cards, I create my own stickers using special papers and a Xyron sticker maker www.allhottips.com. For under dollar10.00 you can buy a Xyron Create A Sticker that will take paper that is one and a half inches wide big enough for labels and small stickers. You can buy Xyron machines that laminate and make stickers that are big enough to take a full sheet of paper that one is a favorite among scrap bookers. The Xyron products are also nice because they work without heat and dont require electricity or batteries.
Glossy photo paper comes in different weights. The lighter weights are great for projects besides photos. Ive used lighter weight paper for brochures, signs, calendars and greeting cards. If you havent printed on glossy paper, try it. You will be amazed at the difference in the color.
At the office supply store you can buy perforated card stock for business cards and postcards. The business cards are great for making games and gift tags. If you can find them, foldover business cards are wonderful to use as placecards. Be sure to check the clearance racks for holiday themes to put away for next year.

How Crowdfunding is Changing Online Businesses

There is that urban myth about a programmer who wrote a program for a bank, where every transaction it would deposit one cent, I think it was US cents, into his own account. Eventually he had millions and caught. However the point of the story is that he used a minimal and large scale to make millions in a short time period.

The other day a random surf around on the Internet landed me up on a new concept of Crowd-Funding. Apparently politicians do it, Charities do it and even entrepreneurs. All these units are using it, with the assistance of the Internet, to get small amounts of money from lots and lots of supporters.

So what does this got to do with Crowd-Funding?

Crowd-Funding derives from another concept of crowd-sourcing or User Generated Content. This involves outsourcing certain jobs to the public to do. Such as what we do here at Public Wear where we encourage user’s to submit their designs in response for various incentives, such as free merchandise and cash. Therefore Crowd-Surfing is one part social networking and one part capital accumulation.

crowd-Funding websites seek to harness the enthusiasm as well as the cash of strangers, usually from the Internet, by promising them a cut of the returns (the incentive). Although this concept is not particularly new it only seems to be appearing around the web now.

Sellaband is a website that allows music lovers to connect with unsigned artists looking to record albums. It allows another way to bypass the record labels, which is great.

Musicians have profiles with bios and songs. The musician is required to sell 5,000 shares, at each, where they are allowed to enter recording studios.

In two years, more than 30,000 people have ponied up more than .5 million, and 25 musicians have cut or are currently recording albums.

Each investment equalates to about .50 from CD sales and Advertising. The resulting money gets split to the artist and the site. Not bad for some bands.

Cameesa is another site which uses small payments from many sources. The idea is that a user submits a design. The design will need 50 donations / ’supports’ before the designer can get the 0 and a free shirt. The business model must obviously be skewed towards to the business, the website, otherwise it is not worth their while, but it is interesting that they so many unique and interesting designs. Harley-davidson Fans Gather in October for Daytona Biker Festival

As the name would suggest Biketoberfest is a motorcycle festival generally held in mid-October in Daytona Beach. Motorcycle enthusiast from all over the country and even some from Europe come to see and be seen.

Biketoberfest began as The Daytona Fall Tour, and was first held in October 1992. It all started when Janet Kersey was hired as director of tourism events and promotions she was tasked by the Daytona Beach Area Convention & Visitors Bureau to create special events that would attract visitors during off-season periods.

The first assignment they gave to her was to create a special biker event, similar to the ever-popular Bike Week, centered around the American Motorcycle Association’s annual fall races held each October at Daytona International Speedway. The event, was called “The Daytona Fall Tour featured a 125-mile scenic touring ride through Volusia County, bike shows, races at Daytona International Speedway and Bikefest — a series of activities offered mainly by the merchants of Main Street. The motorcycling festival attracted 5,000 new visitors, mostly from Florida to the Daytona Beach area.

The success of the Convention and Visitors Bureau’s Daytona Fall Tour attracted increased interest from local merchants and the surrounding community. In 1993, local companies, especially Daytona Harley-Davidson, sponsored concerts, trade shows, and other activities. Under the CVB’s direction,during that time period, Biketoberferst activities grew to 40 events in a three-day time span, today there are many events to watch and maybe even a few you’d like to participant in.

This popular bikers’ spot has hosted celebrities, international guests and media from across the globe. The best party in Daytona Beach starts right on Main Street. You just can’t get the full Biketoberfest experience without a stroll down this ultra famous street. Once there you’re likely to see anything and everything including spectacular, high-end custom bikes and the latest, goofiest bikes on the planet, and vendors are everywhere selling the most unique items and food around. Be sure to visit some of the famous Main Street bars, many of which have been around for decades serving generation after generation of bikers. Biking has become an all in the family pastime, many wives ride with their husbands, on their own bikes, and as the kids get older sometimes they even join in the fun. If you’re looking to get completely put of the crowds for some quite solitude take your bike out on the Loop, it’s like no other ride. It’s freedom, sunshine, open road and graceful curves; it’s a riders dream. If you have never taken this ride it’s highly recommend that you do so. This leisurely ride will give you a feel for Florida’s natural beauty, you can check out nearby Ormond Park and see the Fairchild Oak tree – one of Florida’s oldest living Oaks. Be sure to bring a camera, maybe even a picnic lunch, and enjoy. The Loop is close to 22 miles long and a must for riders who enjoy the open road and want to get a look at Florida’s real natural beauty.

So mark your calendars now for the middle of October. Hotels fill up quickly so be sure to get those reservations booked ASAP too. Then gas up the bike, pack your sunscreen and head on down to Florida for a few days of bikes, babes, beer and nonstop fun, fun, fun.

By selling to other counties online meant that people in other counties would wear the brand. This therefore would give leverage to Mook to set up retail stores across the world.

From this it is possible to see that Mooks is a well developed t shirt and clothing company that specialises in clothing for surfers and skaters. By being unique and socially rebellious this style of brand has becoming very popular in Australia and now the world.

depression?

is this depression? I get up with my 5 month old son around 8 or 9. I never get dressed. stay in my pajamas all day(t shirt and pants) I do take baths daily but I do not get ready. I usually just leave my hair wet and unbrushed and put it in a ponytail. I do not have a car as my husband takes it to work. we dont have any money. dont even have gas money to go anywhere. I sit around my house all day-surf the net, play with my son ect.
My mom comes over all the time to see my son-she comes over os much it gets annoying. that sounds mean but I just feel like I want to be alone sometimes with my new baby

It does sound like you are a little depressed. I am about to have my second child and I know what it is like to have family get on your nerves and the no money thing! I think you should get up tomorrow and take a shower to music, get you and your little one dressed, and go for a walk if the weather is permitting. A little exercise and fresh air will do you some good. Try to add that to your everyday activities. The baby will love to look around, smell the air and listen to new sounds.
