Apart from Margaret River what other good surf spots are near Perth in WA?
Point Danger is the best surf spot in the metropolitan area. Margaret River is consistently better, but Point Danger gets some good waves, and it’s fairly regular, whereas the rest of the surf beaches in the metropolitan area are pretty hit-or-miss and are especially poor during the summer. You can find Point Danger up on Trigg Beach (keep going north from Scarborough Beach). Also, be sure to check out www.srosurf.com, as this is the best surf website for WA surfing.
