Beginning surfing but scared of sharks !?
Okay, so i’m going to start surfing in the holidays, at Surfers Paradise (Australia). But I’m like terrified, that when i’m out learning to surf what’s going to be underneath me in the water. That just scares the sh*t out of me. But i really wanna surf and my biggest concern is that i’m short sighted and wear glasses and what happens if there’s a fin and i can’t see it. do they have any goggles or anything like that so that i can see clear?
Thanks and sorry if i seem a bit too paranoid about sharks but after watching jaws and hearing about shark attacks it really scares you.
If i was you i would be more worried about the crazy rips and sweeps that plague surfers paradise…also would be scared of the 2000 kooks that fill the line up there over summer.
