Windsurfer meets ski photographer – Red Bull Illume 2010

What type of seasonal activity is your most favorite?
Spring/Summer
Hiking, photography, parasailing, fishing, wildlife viewing, four by fouring, camping, enjoying the scenery and outdoors, kayaking, canoeing, roller skating, rock climbing, mountain biking, atving, exploring remote areas, sailing, jet-skiing, swimming, inner tubing, white water rafting, wide games, picnicking, etc.
Fall/ Winter
Ice hockey, basketball, volleyball, badminton, football, snowmobiling, heli-skiing, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, ice climbing, looking at snow, winter driving, other extreme sports, winter camping, toboganning, sledding, etc.
Why do you like this, and what would you recommend while doing this activity?
Summer backpacking and camping. These have long been my favorite activities. I love the mountains. The perspective it gives me on life in general and my own life touches me deeply. I feel like I know my place in the universe when I’m in the mountains, especially in the forest. There I am part of the ecosystem, part of nature. In the city I lose that connection, and I feel much like just one of the masses.
Have you ever been watching a surf DVD and you see some pro bust off the lip, land on some awkward angle with his body bent backwards into the white-wash and yet some how he recovers and manages to stay on his board? Don’t you wish you could do that? That sort of recovery requires an insanely high level of core strength and balance. Lucky for us, you can actually train to increase your balance and in turn improve your Surfing.....Click here to read the rest of the article:Real Surf!
